Here's My Excuse...

So. It has been a while. Let me make a confession. For a while we were... how do you say... borrowing our neighbors wi-fi connection. Well, they moved. Wi-fi: gone. And being the frugal family that we are, we decided to just live with it (or rather without it). But there is one spot in our house, if you stand in the corner of our office, with the computer just so... Voila! Connection! Sometimes. Due to the iffy-ness of it... I (as you may note) have become a total internet slacker. Again.

But here I am, standing in the corner of my office, crossing my fingers that the connection holds, Blogging! So excuses behind... Now I'll post some real stuff!! (and probably not chronologically... we'll see)

Hallie Ann Harrington

She's Here! Our little Hallie was born a week ago today; July 2, 2010 at 6:42 pm. She weighed 7 lbs 2 oz and was 20 inches long.

Having this sweet little baby in our home has been so neat. Little newborns have such a beautiful spirit with them, and I love being able to have that spirit in our home.

Little Hallie is an angel!!! So with no further ado, are some pictures of our little one...

A Day in Zion

For those of you wondering (probably none, so for my own record) this is what we did over Memorial weekend. It was so much fun! We spent the day in Zion National Park!! We drove up, got on the shuttle, did a little hike, a little more shuttle riding, a picnic, some more shuttle riding, and then home again. Such a good family day!! And here are a few of the pics:

Our Little Girl Turns 5!!

Well, it's true. Brecken Dee Harrington turned 5 years old. And I thought it deserved its own post (a little late, but its own post none the less).

Let me just say that I just love my little girl. She is so sweet and helpful. She often says to me "Mom, you're my best mom in the whole world!" And it just melts my heart :) She loves being a big sister, she loves being a big helper, she loves playing with her dolls, with her daddy, with her cousins, she just loves everything! She got her dad's excitement for life! And boy do I love this little girl! So here she is on her big day...
