Terrible Two's: Officially

You may be asking yourself... Is she officially terrible? or officially two? Yes to both. Little Taylor had a birthday. The scene at the end of August 27 (her birthday) sums up Taylor perfectly.

The day was spent in Grantsville. Taylor had gotten away with pretty much everything. Each time a "well it's your birthday, do what you want" was uttered in excuse. And of course there were the dozens of "Happy Birthday Taylor!"s given by the aunts, uncles, grandma, grandpa etc. etc.

Now imagine, it's ten o'clock at night, the birthday cake has been left on the counter, the aunts and uncles are each in their own corners of the house, and Taylor is left alone in the kitchen. I (by chance) got to peek in and see Taylor scoot her chair across the floor, climb the chair, hoist herself onto the counter, grab a nearby (used) plastic spoon, dig into the cake, shovel it in, and with a mouth full of frosting say to herself "Happy Boofday!!!"

Awe, she's cute. And it's a good thing too! All of that extra cute-ness almost compensates for the lotion, baby powder, shampoo, gel, toothpaste! (always the toothpaste), make up, honey, powdered sugar, syrup, crackers, and peanut butter that make it on my floors, walls, counters, and mirrors every day. Well, not all of it every day. But some of it every day. Oh, I love that girl!!!

Just a few pictures that capture Taylor...

Happy Boofday little two year old!!

She is too cute! Avery is in the same stage. It is a good thing they don't stay in this stage forever, at least for the getting in to everything part. So glad you posted new pics. You family is adorable.

I hadn't heard that story Ren, I nearly died choking on my laughter! Do you guys video her a lot? Because she would be hillarious to follow around with the camera!!
